SOUTHWARD is one of our most popular properties here at Hillside Village, it is situated all on one level and sleeps 6 in three bedrooms with a large, enclosed gated terrace. It's spacious, comfortable design and breath-taking views make it the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the many wonderful things Aberdovey and the local area have to offer.

SOUTHWARD is perfect for families or groups of friends, looking to stay together in one property. Southward is also frequently booked as part of a multi-property booking with other properties at Hillside Village, its dining table seats 8. If being used as part of the multi property booking and is where guests from other properties will be dining additional tableware can be provided, on the spacious terrace we can provide a table or tables to seat 8 or more.

SOUTHWARD as with several of our properties has a second bedroom with two single divan beds that abut as standard, can be separated - (also can be made into super king bed with super king topper, sheets and duvet - an extra charge when booking). This is a great option for two couples sharing and those that want a bigger bed!

SOUTHWARD is super dog friendly, 3 dogs may stay with their owners, if the dogs are of smaller breeds, then we could be considered additional dogs, give us a call to check. Hillside Village welcomes dogs to stay with us they get their own special welcome. Check out the DOGS page on our website. Southward has a large enclosed and gated area.

SOUTHWARD is particularly suitable for those looking for a property that is accessible for those with limited mobility. It on the Ground Floor, all rooms are on a single level, access is via a level threshold at ground level. It is wheelchair friendly. There is a walk-in shower and a shower/bath seat can be provided if required, as we a raised toilet seat. The access from where a car can park is via a path navigable by a wheelchair.

SOUTHWARD enjoys amazing, ever-changing, south facing sea views of the Dyfi (Dovey) estuary, hills, mountains, Cardigan Bay and beyond. Check out our two WEBCAMS on our website, they are set up to pan from East through South to the West and back again 24/7.

LIVING ACCOMMODATION
SOUTHWARD'S living area is spacious and open plan, it is split in to two areas the lounge and the dining and kitchen areas, patio windows open out on to the south facing terrace, the amazing ever-changing sea views are experienced from the whole of the living area.
The lounge has two new (two and three person) sofas and a new leather reclining armchair perfect surrounding an oak and granite coffee table. It has a Smart TV with digital Freeview and a DVD player, Hillside Village has a library of DVDs as well as books for guests to borrow.
The dining kitchen area overlooks the terrace and the sea views beyond, the dining part has seating round a oak and granite table for 6 comfortably. It has the following integrated appliances Dishwasher, Fridge and Freezer, Electric fan oven and hob. There is plenty of storage space and kitchen equipment with matching utensils for 8.

The terrace is gated, the paved area is with shrub boarders.

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATION
SOUTHWARD has three Bedrooms sleeping 6 as follows:
Bedroom 1 - A standard double with chest of drawers, bedside tables, and built-in wardrobe. Sea views over estuary and beyond. double aspect including morning sunlight.
Bedroom 2 - Two single divan beds abutting as standard can be separated - (also can be made into super king bed with super king topper, sheets and duvet - an extra charge when booking), with chest of drawers, bedside tables, and built-in wardrobe. Estuary sea views, morning sunlight.

THE TWO BATH / SHOWER ROOMS
SOUTHWARD has a spacious Family Bathroom. The shower room has a large walk-in shower. Both have accessibility features see paragraph below.

ACCESS AND PARKING
SOUTHWARD parking is in the Guest Car Park, two parking spaces can be provided for Southward, additional parking spaces subject to availability, however only one parking space will be provided unless guests specifically request otherwise. Southward’s position and how it is accessed is shown on the Hillside Village Map 2024. Our golf buggy can transport your luggage on arrival and departure to/from the Guest Car Park and a few yards from Southward front door, just let us know on arrival.
As to finding Aberdovey Hillside Village in Aberdovey and where Aberdovey is in relation to where you live check out OUR LOCATION page on our website. Southward is in the perfect position for enjoying Aberdovey and the area, by foot, rail or car.
Generally in respect of all our properties the lounges are comfortably furnished with sofas and armchairs, coffee tables and TV with free-to-air digital. Beds are made up prior to arrival, with pillows, duvets and all bed linen (no bath or hand towels are provided). Whether properties have more than one bath / shower room and its content is specified for each property on their page. All kitchens are equipped with electric or gas hobs & ovens, microwave ovens, toasters, automatic kettles, refrigerator, most have separate freezers and a comprehensive range of cooking utensils. All utility costs are inclusive. Coin operated washing machines and dryers are in the guest laundrette off the Terrace Lounge.

WI-FI AND SMART TVs
We know that being able to connect to the outside world is part of life today and particularly important for families to have a Wi-Fi network they can connect to for their children. We are pleased to say that with a combination of our Superfast Broadband transmitted through numerous access points and our Three and EE hubs connected to a 5G transmitter in line of sight across the estuary we have this covered. All our properties have Smart TVs. All mobile networks provide good 4G or 5G indoor and outdoor service to us.
​
We have several properties that are accessible for those with restricted mobility, and can provide shower or bath seats and raised toilet seats. For young families cots and high chairs are available. It is a wonderful place for just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet and the ever-changing views.
